FEEL GOOD YOGA FLOW (All Levels)
Feel Good Yoga is a yoga class dedicated to finding the alignment that makes your body “feel good.” Often times we move from posture to posture without noticing the “in between” spaces. The spaces where your breath is present, you are moving your body and noticing sensations and emotions. Move & groove to energizing music and just let go. Unwind. Unwrap. Flow Mindfully.
Gentle Yoga will guide you through the process of “slowing down.” When we move with awareness we can observe ourselves from the inside out. In this class we will move with the breath and move with an intention of gratitude. Finding and feeling the way “your body” needs to move in order to feel good.
ISLAND ZEN (All Levels)
Island Zen class will center your breath and body, aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. The props assist in helping you to hold poses longer. Enjoy comfy blankets and blocks to help support your body into a peaceful and calm place. Relaxed yet?
Nia is the art of movement the body’s way. Nia is a cardio-dance workout, a movement practice, and lifestyle based on the intelligent design of the body. We believe every person can discover, explore, unleash, and enhance their individual potential to live a healthy and meaningful life by engaging their senses and listening to their bodies
MOVING TO HEAL
A gentle therapeutic movement class for those who want to slow down to feel better. Each class has an easy to follow movement section and end relaxation meditation to lift your spirits. Learn to become your own conscious personal trainer through measuring your progress. This class will begin your day with increased mobility and comfort in your feet, knees, back, shoulders, and neck in and out of class.
Chair yoga is a special yoga class with the “support” of a chair. This class is for students that want to avoid getting up and down off the floor. Postures will be done in and out of the chair using the chair for balancing. Chair yoga offers all the same benefits of a tradition yoga class on the mat, including improved strength and flexibility, improved focus and awareness, improved functional fitness in everyday activities and a decrease in stress.
Pilates is a workout designed to practice exercises that improve daily living. Pilates will strengthen your core, challenge your balance and coordination while improving and enhancing your range of motion. Pilates is about preparing your body for living, not just an event! Pilates is Balance, Strength, and Stretching. Get ready to get strong!
